1. Parts of a Computer
*Students learn that a computer works on the Input-Process-Output (IPO) cycle and comprises physical hardware:
*Input Devices: Used to send information to the computer (e.g., Keyboard, Mouse).Processing Device: The "brain" of the computer that processes data (e.g., CPU / Central Processing Unit).
*Output Devices: Used to show or play the results (e.g., Monitor, Speakers, Printer).
*Storage Devices: Used to save data and files (e.g., Hard Disk, Pen Drive).
2. Basic Software
*Hardware vs. Software: Hardware includes physical parts you can touch, while software refers to the programs and instructions that tell the computer what to do.
*Operating System: Students are introduced to the basics of graphical interfaces, like the Windows desktop, icons, and how to properly start and shut down the computer.
3. Practical ApplicationsTyping: Practicing basic keyboarding skills.MS Paint: Learning how to use basic tools (pencil, brush, shapes, fill color) to create digital drawings.
